ArtLacuna is an artist-led space set up in May 2013 in an old coroner's office in Clapham Junction. It accommodates artist studios, project and exhibition space. ArtLacuna aims to open up dialoguesacross creative disciplines, providing a resource for local professional and student communities. The lacuna, or lexical gap, represents a gap in translation, a place where multiple meanings are applied, where meanings shift and new interpretations can be made.
Hua Gallery specialises in the exciting and sometimes controversial space that is Chinese contemporary art. As Chinese contemporary art continues to fascinate and intrigue collectors around the world,demand and appetite for fresh and innovative art from this fast-changing region continues to escalate. Hua Gallery represents cutting edge, stimulating works by established contemporary Chinese artists, as well as emerging contemporary Chinese artists who are not as yet discovered internationally.
Webbs Fine Art Gallery is located in South London in the picturesque area of Clapham. We have an exhibition space of 3 floors within a Victorian building. The room settings are designed to represent areal home environment. We represent on average 65 artists in rotation giving us a stock amount of around 700 original pieces of art. These range from large oil and acrylic canvases of British and European seascapes and landscapes and London, Paris and New York cityscapes.
In addition we also showcase works by a small group of contemporary British artists. We are committed to sourcing exceptional pieces of high quality and stunning design; our philosophy is simple: ifwe love it we buy it. Between us we have over thirty five years' experience in the international art world and we have applied our extensive knowledge and expertise to create a unique gallery at the Old Imperial Laundry in Battersea, London.
Quantum Contemporary Art was launched in London in 1997 with the aim of bringing British contemporary art to a wider public. It is the place for identifying young and new talent still at affordableprices. The Independent newspaper called us the " patron of young up-and-coming artists" while the Financial Times described us as " fun, hip and friendly"! Quantum Contemporary Art specialises in painting. We have 30 artists on our books, working in a wide range of styles.
