Of Cabbages & Kings first set up shop in May 2008. Since then we have been establishing creative networks and platforms for designers and makers in London and across the UK. We are an independentretailer and gallery space working closely with young and aspiring creatives, looking to support original product design and nurture talent by providing a welcoming platform and exhibition space from which to show and sell their work.
Hang-Up is an East London based contemporary art gallery located in the vibrant and bohemian neighbourhood of Stoke Newington. The gallery presents a dynamic exhibition program of fresh and forwardthinking work from our roster of artists, photographers and makers. We show both young artists at the early stages of their careers alongside established names from the art world.
Mick Wright started in 1980 as a cabinet maker in the notorious East end of London and has used his vast experience within the company. He has been involved within the fine art handling industry since1992 where he has since worked for many esteemed galleries and artists including White Cube, Victoria Miro, Gagosian & Spruth Magers galleries. Mick established Wright Gallery Services in 2006 with a team of experienced art technicians and case makers with whom he has shared his broad experience.
Karin Janssen is a Dutch visual artist, dividing her time between working and exhibiting in Shanghai, London and the Netherlands and running Karin Janssen Project Space in London. Janssen's workresearches how crude emotions can alter the appearance of the physical body by creating large, seductive drawings that lure us in and then confront us with our own abject inner-self. In her independent exhibition space she curates shows of both emerging and established artists from the UK and abroad.

After being sacked for sarcasm from his first job in design he embarked upon a slightly interrupted career as a freelance artist and designer, which encouraged an eclectic mix of projects includingHollywood titles for the movie Gladiator, bronze casting and snow sculpting, theatre, song and book writing, publishing, gallery curating, academic lecturing and research. Much of his personal work involves binge printing in letterpress and the screen-print process.

Art House Foundation is a small artist led commissioning charity. Founded in 2008 by Caroline Rolf and Keith Wilson, AHF is particularly interested in object based practice. We support emerging andestablished artists through an in depth engagement to develop and exhibit new work and through the provision of affordable studio space. We also offer local educational establishments proximity to all professional practice associated with the commissioning process.
