My art has brought me much joy and happiness. It fulfils a great need in me to be creative, to play and enjoy the wonders of the world around me. I appreciate the waves of the sea, laying in flowerfilled meadows and enjoying my being. Art gives me peace and stillness, fun, joy and happiness. I have lived in Cornwall for many years now and I feel very lucky to live in such a wonderful part of the world. I can see the sea from my studio window.
I was born in Cornwall and have been drawn towards Art and creative subjects ever since attending primary school. I naturally pursued this passion through my secondary school years in the southwest, and it wasn't until I attended Truro College that I became drawn toward the design elements. This led me to study interior design at the university of North London. Whilst studying my degree course I achieved a greater understanding of the drawn line, position and perspective.

Here's a challenge, try painting a picture just using your fingers! Use the pads of your fingers as the main technique to get the paint on the board, then smear with the edge of your hand, add finerdetail with your little finger using the finger tip and edge of it when the paint is.
