Most of all we want you to be able to enjoy artworks from wherever we find it, not just from one location. And we don't want you to have to travel great distances to find it. Sofiah Garrard is anartist in her own right (and exhibits at Green Chair Gallery), and Solihin is a former business consultant. Having followed the arts for many years they feel it is about time they put some of their ideas into practice. We hope you enjoy Green Chair Gallery.

I'm a contemporary artist, living and working in the Kent countryside, near the coast. I'm inspired by the natural world, and intrigued by the many ways we find to interpret and control it. I'm drivenby a curiosity about the past, and a keen interest to know how we make stories to understand our history and our place in the world now.

We seek out and celebrate the homegrown creativity of the newly fledged, as well as more firmly established practitioners. Handmade prints, drawings and papercuts exist alongside ceramics, jewellery, stationery and books. From time to time a one-person or group show colonises the walls. Frank, then, exists in a hybrid space-somewhere between a gallery and a shop-yet still inhabits a real space: near a harbour, by the sea, in Whitstable on the north Kent coast. We'd be pleased to meet you.
