Born in N.Ireland, I began my painting career in Kinrosshire, Scotland before moving to the west of Ireland to set up my studio and gallery in an old Victorian Glebe house. After a successful one manshow in Belfast in 1990 I returned to live in County Antrim where I now have a studio gallery at Castlecat near Bushmills.

As I worked on this small pastel, I was deeply mindful of the ebb and flow of each wave and, ultimately, the awesome power of the sea. To be able to see into the depths, down through the crystal clearunpolluted water, is such a blessing. Paul Dennison has been painting fine art for 30 years. He works in pastel and acrylic and his paintings have been exhibited and sold throughout Northern Ireland. His work includes detailed landscapes,still life and various types of animals and birds. Whilst raised in Ballymena, Paul now lives in the coastal town of Carrickfergus and is currently a teacher in Cullybackey College.
