
Just about to enter its eighth year of trading in Woodbridge, RE+new is now on the map as 'the modernist gallery' in the area. Representing in excess of forty artists, mostly local and substantiallycontemporary, owner Geoff Witts is delighted with the mix of art and the reputation that the gallery has gained in a relatively short time.

We show a wide range of work embracing ceramics, glass, jewellery, sculpture, printmaking, collage and photography, as well as painting in oils, watercolour, acrylics and other media. The aim was tocreate an artist-run gallery with an informal, visitor friendly environment. Eagle Bookshop has supported and sponsored Eagle Gallery from its beginning and continues to do so.

Angela and her husband Tim are both artists, although Tim is a little more sporadic with his art. Angela, our artist in residence, has been drawing and painting as long as she can remember, but purelyas a hobby, but now, starting the gallery she is finally doing something that she has wanted to do for a long time - concentrate on her art.

2015 marks my 26th year picture framing in Harpenden and my colleague Sarah Sharp GCF has been working with me for the last ten of these. In these ever changing times we're happy to report that nottoo much has changed in the world of framing, and in fact we quite like it that way.

The Leigh Art Trail starts on Saturday 6th June until Saturday 13th. Gallery artist Susan Allen is one of approx 30 artists on the trail and will be showing new work at the Estuary GalleryCo-operative, venue number 26, when you can meet Susan on 6th. The Gallery will be open every day 10am to 5pm during the trail and late night on Thursday. Photography has been a passion for Ian from a veryearly age since when he has worked as a freelance photographer for both commercial and private clients for 35 years.
