North House Gallery was established in 1999 by Penelope Hughes-Stanton in the former studio of her father, the painter and wood-engraver Blair Hughes-Stanton.

Working directly from a digital tablet, she creates her works painting onto the digital canvas, building layer upon layer to create rich, deep emotive pieces of art. Just about to enter its eighth year of trading in Woodbridge, RE+new is now on the map as 'the modernist gallery' in the area. Representing in excess of forty artists, mostly local and substantiallycontemporary, owner Geoff Witts is delighted with the mix of art and the reputation that the gallery has gained in a relatively short time.

The development includes a number of live/work units and commerical spaces some of which are now occupied by artists. As a result, a natural artistic hub is emerging and the main gallery space at KeelHouse, one of the live/work units has housed a number of successful exhibitions in the last few years. The Christmas Cornucopia are hugely successful exhibitions. Work is shown in a number of venues with a wide variety of beautiful hand-crafted gifts and artworks.

Sculpt Gallery in Essex is one of a handful of art galleries in the UK specialising in contemporary British sculpture and other forms of three-dimensional art. The principal artist is internationalsculptor Maurice Blik, whose home and studio are on site. The need for a creative centre in Mid-Norfolk led to the opening of Art Academy East. The purpose was to provide engage students and break down the barriers of learning within the arts and tostructure achievable, skills based courses with a strong foundation in technical ability. Art Academy East was founded by Norfolk based fine artist and teacher Claire Frances Smith.
