The Canon Gallery we are Fine art Dealers in 18th, 19th and 20th century oils and watercolours. Originally established in 1985 in Chichester, we then moved to Petworth, West Sussex and now moved toNear Huntington, Cambridge. Our exhibition window now features the work of Giuseppina Santoro- Ellwood, 2011 Louvre Exhibitor and can be viewed until Monday 8th June. Work has been selected from the 2014 Unspoken and Suri SuriExhibitions but also serves as an extension to the Italian Community Arts Project (ICAP). The Project funded by the Arts Council has been completely orchestrated by Giuseppina, who has facilitated art workshops and community activities focussing on her Italian heritage.

Rumours Decorative Arts were first established back in 1985, we exhibited at many quality Antique Fairs across the country showing a varied selection of English Art Pottery ceramics. In 1986 wediscovered Moorcroft Pottery by purchasing by chance, a 1940's piece of the Anemone pattern on a Blue ground, at a local Antiques Fair and just loved it, at that time not very many people knew of the Pottery and it was still relatively undiscovered.

The need for a creative centre in Mid-Norfolk led to the opening of Art Academy East. The purpose was to provide engage students and break down the barriers of learning within the arts and tostructure achievable, skills based courses with a strong foundation in technical ability. Art Academy East was founded by Norfolk based fine artist and teacher Claire Frances Smith.
