About the Business
In the river village of Charlton, near Pershore in Worcestershire, is the lovely purpose-built studio where Rita, a mixed media artist and teacher, pursues her own practice and offers classes and workshops to people of all ages and abilities within the community.
The studio is a small, yet light and airy space where there is a constantly changing display of Rita's art work. She actively encourages people to drop in for a chat and there is always something unique to look at or to buy within a wide price range. Commissions are also taken.
Studio classes are small, friendly and aimed at encouraging students of all ages to be creative and enjoy their art in a supportive environment. Rita has regular groups running throughout the year and new students are always welcome. Special workshops take place periodically aimed at providing opportunities for 'Young Artists', and also 'taster' experiences for those wishing to learn a new technique.
