About the Business
Number 8 is a thriving Community Arts Centre inspired and led by the people of Pershore. Our mission is to provide arts and leisure activities to its local community and beyond with the aim of improving the social well-being of the inhabitants of Pershore and surrounding areas.
Number 8 offers a vibrant programme of film (with 35mm, digital projection and 3D), live events (including music, theatre and dance), events beamed in via satellite such as ballets, operas and the National Theatre Live seasons.
We run a programme of creative courses including popular Youth Theatre and weekly children's dance classes, as well as Chance to Dance, a dance programme for over 55s. Number 8 also hosts a popular monthly readers' group. There is also a continuous programme of art and designer craft exhibitions within our coffee bar gallery and craft cases.
