My name is Mark Stafford and following a lot of travelling around the country I have come to settle in North Wales. I am a huge nature lover and landscape painter. I enjoy nothing more than walkingoff a sunday roast in the surrounding forests and mountains with my wife and dog. I have been interested in art ever since I could first hold a pencil or brush.
We have two luxury holiday cottages in the out buildings, Perfect for that quite getaway close to fantastic mountains and long wooded walks. Not to mention a six bedroom Country House and a fantasticwine bar. Apart from our regular exhibition launches, Ffin y Parc Gallery has many other plans to host a variety of exciting events including Jazz Evenings. Alan predominantly paints seascapes in oils, but also produces sculptures cast in bronze and Caricatures in pen and ink and colour. Born in Liverpool, the great port instilled in him nauticalcuriosity which eventually led him to travel the oceans of the world as a member of the Blue Funnel Shipping Company. Alan's Drawings and paintings evolved and impressions of the sea in all its various guises were captured on canvas.
Here at Bronze Barn Gallery we have an array of British and worldwide designed bronzes and glassware. Our limited edition solid bronzes are made using the lost wax method a technique used forthousands of years. A wax positive is made from the original, coated with a ceramic shell and fired to harden the shell and melt the wax. Molten bronze is poured into the mould and then they are hand finished with patinas.
Born in 1959, Steven spent most of his early childhood in Llysfaen, a small, idyllic village in the hills of North Wales. An ideal place for an artist to grow up and the panoramic views of thesurrounding landscape inspired him to sketch and paint and by the age of 10, he had won his first Art competition. In 1975, he began studying at Wrexham Art College, and was taught by the excellent Welsh artist Keith Bowen.
Anthony 'Ginger' Cain was born Liverpool. Spent school years in the Lake District where he started climbing which turned into a lifelong obsession. He also studied geology which is reflected in therock structures of his paintings. He has lived in Canada, Wales and the Scottish Highlands before moving back to Llanberis in Wales where he now lives. A serious interest in painting during a summer job in a fire lookout at Bow Summit in Banff National Park, Canada in 1959.
