2015 marks my 26th year picture framing in Harpenden and my colleague Sarah Sharp GCF has been working with me for the last ten of these. In these ever changing times we're happy to report that nottoo much has changed in the world of framing, and in fact we quite like it that way.
The gallery was established in 2011 by Hitchin artist Emmeline Webb. It's a showcase for local and regional arts and crafts. The gallery houses a lovely collection of paintings, hand pulled prints,ceramics and glass, along with its own range of greetings cards and bone china products.

I have worked as a fine art conservator since 1993. I was previously employed at the National Gallery of Canada and the Canadian Museum of Civilization. For fourteen years I worked in New York City atthe prestigious Grassi Studio on some of the most important Old Master paintings still in private hands. Additionally, I was commissioned to treat major impressionist and contemporary paintings and was the conservator-advisor to Jeff Koons.
An artist may not be able to fully devote his or her creative bent of mind when people are unable to appreciate the artwork simply because of the insufficient exposure of art. OnlineArt wasconceptualized by an artist to reach much wider art lovers over the Internet. This journey to creative excellence is now spearheaded by a group of professionals with extensive knowledge and experience in the fields of art, finance and public relations.

With two prominent galleries (one on Chequer Street inthe heart of historic St Albans, the other in peaceful Harpenden Village), each offers a vibrant mix of contemporary fine art from which to select. Rhapsode is based in Letchworth in North Herts. Rhapsode is a professional community arts* production company that runs projects and aims to take the arts to wider audiences. Welcome to this beautiful Hertfordshire artgallery. The gallery is devoted to original works of art and has an excellent, continually changing exhibition of oils, watercolours, drawings and mixed media pieces. We are also very proud of our contingent of original printmakers, contributing exquisite etchings, linocuts, and screen prints.
